We will be celebrating all day with free, fair trade coffee samples and baked goods from the Women’s Bean Project!
Be part of the biggest fair trade coffee break on earth, as part of Fair Trade America’s Fair Trade Challenge!
In the afternoon, enjoy kids’ activities from 2-4PM. Starting at 2PM, performer Joanie Calem will be here, leading kids in a jam session with our fair trade instruments! We will also have craft activities and a scavenger hunt with prizes!
From 4-6 PM, view Poverty Inc at Peace Love Bling, our partner in Fair Trade in the Short North.
At 7PM, enjoy a performance on the steel drums by Franklinton Prep World Music Ensemble!
In partnership with Fair Trade Columbus and Global Gallery, stop by anytime for your free Fair Trade Columbus card. Get your card stamped at both Global Gallery in Clintonville and Global Gifts in the Short North, and win a free cup of coffee and an Alter Eco truffle!
Starting on Mother’s Day through World Fair Trade Day, Moms can participate in The Red Bindi Project! The Red Bindhi is a sign of love and prosperity commonly worn by mothers in India. Let’s celebrate strong mothers and women artisans around the world. Wear a Red Bindi to show your support to Fair Trade and hard working mothers everywhere!
