“(Heart of it All Fashion) brings something new,” Aaron Carey, co-founder of Heart of it All Fashion, said during an exclusive interview with campus 1870 Magazine. “It brings a new attitude, a new culture. I feel like it’s like a pick me up for the fashion community.”
The Heart of it All Fashion Experience provides designers, models, and students the opportunity to expand their portfolios and network with a diverse group of professionals with experience in their field of interest. The overall planning committee is comprised of Ohio State students with majors ranging from fashion and retail studies, strategic communication, marketing, business, engineering, fine arts, and design. Those involved in the overall planning committee gain leadership, event planning and marketing skills. The recruitment process is very important to the organization when it comes down to finding local businesses, upcoming designers, models, photographers, videographers, bloggers, boutiques, hairstylists and makeup artists to collaborate with for the Fashion Experience.
“We need our marketers, we need our PR people, we need our communications, we need the digital design people. We’re bringing everyone together for the cause of fashion.” said Aaron Carey, 1870 Magazine.
This phenomenal opportunity gives such a diverse group of students a chance to showcase their many talents for the entire weekend. Heart of it All Fashion provides model clinics free of charge strictly to help experienced and inexperienced models to master their walk for runway fashion. These models acquire professional training from the renowned co-founders and experienced models who have walked in New York Fashion Week.
